Scope:
From the period of June of 1998 until present DCI has provided

Station
Cabling - DCI will
install (192) Dual CAT5e drops, (25) Single CAT5e drops, and
(12) Single CAT5e WAP drops at locations [as marked on
plans] on the second floor to be terminated in the first floor
server room. (6) 4” conduits will be furnished by DPSA for DCI to
use to distribute cables from the 2nd floor to the 1st
floor server room. DCI will also install (27) Dual CAT5e
drops, (8) Single CAT5e drops at locations [as marked on
plans] on the first floor to be terminated in the same first floor
server room. All cables will be installed under the raised floor,
being attached to the floor support system with plenum rated ties.
Penetrations will be furnished by the flooring contractor for access
to modular furniture. Blue and orange patch cords will be provided
by DCI for the system end termination point in 3 and 5 foot lengths.
Paging -
DCI will install (12)
ceiling speakers, (1) 2 amp power supply, and associated cabling on
the second floor.
Feed
Cabling - DCI will
install a 25pr cable from the building demarcation point to the
first floor server room. Both ends of this cable will be terminated
on wall mounted 110 blocks.
Server Room
- DCI will install (2)
84” 2 post relay racks with vertical and horizontal management to
facilitate the (11) 48 port patch panels [station cables], PBX tail
terminations, switches, etc. (2) 84” 4 post server racks will also
be installed to facilitate DPSA’s servers and DCI provided UPS’s,
KVM switch/monitor, rack mount power strips, etc. (1) HP ProCurve
4160gl bundle will also be provided and installed by DCI personnel.
